SolarPros is a marketplace. We connect homeowners with independent, vetted solar installers — we do not design, sell, or install solar systems ourselves. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Our role as a marketplace
SolarPros helps homeowners find licensed, insured installers and helps installers earn the SolarPros badge and reach customers in their area.
Every quote, contract, warranty, workmanship guarantee, and installation is between you and the installer you choose. SolarPros is not a party to that contract.
Homeowner accounts
You must provide accurate information when requesting quotes. You are responsible for evaluating any installer's proposal and for the contract you sign with them.
Savings calculators, incentive summaries, and payback estimates are informational only and depend on inputs, utility rates, and program availability that change over time.
Installer partners
Installers must maintain a valid state license, general liability insurance, and any certifications listed in their profile. Providing false credentials is grounds for immediate removal.
The SolarPros badge is licensed for use on your website and marketing only while your account is in good standing. We may revoke it at any time for cause.
No warranty from SolarPros
The site is provided "as is." We do not warrant installer performance, panel warranties, or any results from a project. All product and workmanship warranties are provided by the installer or manufacturer.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolarPros is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any installer engagement.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
